Immediately when you access the application you are presented with a diamond shape configuration of letters comprised of the four most likely choices based on the database kannuu is indexing. The device you are using determines the character selection process. Hand held, non-touch screen devices such as a mobile phone allow you to use only the four-way directional arrows for selection, eliminating the need for key pads or key boards. If you are using a touch-screen device, you simply tap the character you are looking for on the screen. Gaming consoles will use the joystick, set-top DVRs simply use the arrows on the remote.
When you select a letter or sequence of letters, the tool automatically offers you the next set of choices.
You can long-press (press and hold for two seconds) in the direction of the phrase you want to view, this will make the label scroll through the option area.
You do not need extra hardware, kannuu is a small and simple yet powerful software installation.
No, a kannuu can present any number of choices to be selected by the user. The number of choices depends on the input mechanism being used and usability considerations. At the heart of kannuu's technology is the patented Partial Word Completion™ technology, which is a simple, elegant and powerful means of selecting in any database.
Partial Word Completion™ is an evolutionary leap forward from current word-completion systems. The technology works by indexing list choices and presents on screen four options. These options are statistically the most likely choices to begin and complete the word or phrase.
kannuu is essentially a smart look-up technology that doesn't require new or unusual hardware. Whether you are looking up a contact on your phone, a song in a music library, or looking for a restaurant's location on the Web, etc. kannuu's technology finds the exact results you are looking for, minus the "searching."
Immediately when you access the application, a four-point diamond shape of letters is presented with the center button leading you to your next set of choices. The letters that appear first are the four most popular letters in whatever database you are searching on/in.
By actively predicting and matching the most likely selections, users can quickly create complex finds in just a few clicks.
kannuu, is very lightweight, yet extremely powerful. kannuu won’t weigh your systems down, the application is KBs NOT MBs.
